John Muriithi is a senior operator at a Korean Company in Nyandarua County. He is a Sensei Institute Alumni who trained back in 2014. Muriithi enrolled and trained in Plant Operator course. He admits that Sensei moulded him with the skills he uses until now. He further appreciates the effort the institute puts in equipping students.
Additionally, Mr. John admits that the journey in search of jobs is not an easy one. He equates his success to obedience and humility. “Those juniour operators complaining that they underwent technical training but cannot secure jobs should understand that nothing comes easy,” he affirms.
Muriithi was inspired by the devolved government to join the course. According to him there were so many chances of getting employment as soon as he leaves Sensei but none of that was going to be true. “ After completing my course, I went for attachment which was so demanding because I used to wash the machines daily, do greasing and wash operators overalls but my patience bore fruits”, he recalls.
Muriithi thanked Sensei for the knowledge he gained saying: “When the company I am currently working for was looking for a machine operator and I hurriedly went for interview, it was the knowledge from Sensei that saved me.”
Mr. Muriithi who concluded by urging the young people especially the students to always be patient, obedient, respectful and trust in God in all they do.
